The last 3 months have been crazy! Got an offer on my house. Spent 2 months packing. Boy do things accumulate over the years. I didn’t have a lot of time to go through things but did manage to throw some stuff out and sell a few items. Most of the rest went into storage.
Thank you to a great realtor in my area for helping me through this adventure. I’m still looking for a place to buy. Prices are crazy here so I’m looking at land and hope to build a small house on it.
I took some of the money from the sale to buy another used car. Mine finally died. I’m enjoying my Toyota Camery. It has a newer radio with Android Auto. I love being able to see Google maps without looking at my phone. I can also answer my phone hands free. I did have to buy a backup camera so I still need to get that installed.
The guys who bought my house are restoring it from the floor and studs up. I can’t wait to see the finished product. I never thought I would miss that house but I find myself missing it some. That should change when I find a place of my own.
While I’m looking, I’m living with my daughter and the kids. She found a really cute rent house. 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. The house is less expensive than her apartment she had. Stay tuned. I will be posting more often now.
