I love doing craft projects. I’m currently finishing a needlepoint project to enter in the county fair at the end of August. UPDATE: It’s finished and I won the blue ribbon for the needlepoint category, and best of division for embroidery. I was a close contender for best in show for needlecrafts but an beautiful crochet blanket won. It was close.
It’s a needlepoint Christmas tree skirt. I’ve been working on this off and on for about 5 years now. Lots of stitches and a large project. It is turning out so pretty. I love it and can’t wait to have it under my tree this year.
The original photo from the kit didn’t have the black outline but I decided to add it.
The flowers really pop off the white background. I added dark and light green floss veins to the leaves
