I am currently house hunting. While doing that I am staying with my daughter Angie, Matthew’s mother. She was out of town for just over a year but wanted the kids to stay here so they stayed with me. They are now back with her since she came back in November.
I am going to have to get a fixer upper since my budget is so low. I took a loss on my house that I sold.
I have found a cute house in town. I would rather be out of town but nothing is available right now so it looks like I will be in town for now. I may flip this one once it’s done and get something else. It will depend on how I like the house once I move in. The yard is a decent size so I will have room for my gardens and a greenhouse. It’s a 3 bedroom, 1 bath house. The bathroom has been gutted so I get to redo it completely. I hope to add a 1/2 bath so it will resell better in the future.
One of the bedrooms will be my office and craft area. I also plan on teaching voice lessons in the office area. One has windows all along the side and I plan on using it as a sunroom with an indoor garden even when I get a greenhouse. The back room will be my bedroom.
I am currently getting estimates from contractors so I know what to offer or put down on an owner financed loan.
