I am so excited to announce that this fall I will be opening a homeschool co-op and tutoring center. I’m currently hunting for a building to use and will post that when it’s final. Along with some helpers, I will be helping parents homeschool their kids. I will be open Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We will keep the same calendar as the public schools. Most class materials will be available in an online classroom. There will be a monthly fee to help cover utilities, food, materials, and other expenses.
I will be providing the curriculum, and core subjects will be on Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings. Electives will be those same afternoons. Parents may choose when they want their students to come.
Tuesdays will be gardening and cooking classes. These will be lessons and hands on experience. All recipes that we use will be posted in the recipe section of this blog.

Thursdays will be crafts and sewing. I will provide 4 to 5 sewing machines for the students to use. This will be lessons and hands on. Sewing will start at 3rd grade. K – 2nd will do other crafts to prepare them for sewing. I have purchased several metal potholder looms and loops. The kids can make potholders to sell, keep, donate, and enter into the county fair. All crafts will be able to be sold, donated, or kept by the students.
Students will be able to keep what they make or if they choose, I will be getting a booth at our farmer’s market where we can sell what we raise and make.
