Wow, fall is here. School started in mid-August, and it has been crazy around the house. Soccer has started and we won our first game 4 to 0. Matthew scored 3 goals, and we scored a penalty kick. I have a really good team this season. We are busy packing so we will be ready when the house sells.
Matthew started doing Power Homeschool again this year, but the app kept crashing and the prices have gone up and next year it will go much higher. While I was checking out different programs we used Khan Academy. We have switched to Time 4 Learning and it is working out well. Matthew plans on going to public school next year in middle school for at least 3 classes. We have not decided if he will go back full-time or part-time. We are lucky that our schools work with homeschool students.
I have been so busy that I haven’t had time to post. So sorry about that. I have decided to build my business, JJS Services. I do websites, brochures, business cards, and other business services. There is a link at the bottom of each page of this blog.
I plan on writing some curriculum and offering it on this blog site since I already have a store. I am creating an online classroom that I hope to have live in a few weeks. I have a Google classroom set up for my classes until I can get an online classroom site up and running. I am planning on starting back doing some crafts and making some things to sell.
I have been doing a lot of research on living off grid and will be sharing what I’ve found out very soon. Enjoy the cooler weather of fall before winter decides to move in.
